Owner
Alison Gibson
I qualified with a Business Management (BSC) Honours degree and Level 5 leadership in Health & Social Care, with 24 years experience in business management, 18 years working in the social care sector and 10 years running my own social care business. My career in social care came at a time when our own family was tragically hit with the bad news of our own parents been diagnosed with terminal illnesses. Since then, I have been passionate about the welfare of people and promoting exceptional care and support. I have developed a keen interest in mental health issues, cognitive impairments and raising awareness of invisible disabilities. When not working (which isn’t very often) I enjoy my garden and the peace and tranquility of open space and digging up my vegetables. On a social basis, I enjoy meeting with friends and taking our dogs for nice long walks in the countryside.
Registered Manager
Layla Nicklin
I have over 25 years experience within Social Care including Care Homes, Home Care and Supported Living. My background is training and in recent years became passionate about Home Care and Independent living in the community. I enjoy all aspects of my role as a Registered Manager and providing positive client experiences for people living in their own homes. Outside of work, I spend time caring for my own family and enjoy spending time with friends.
HR Support, Payroll & Invoicing Lead
I have spent most of my working career within the corporate sector managing the hospitality brands within Midland Railways and also working within the Tesco Supermarket Brand.
My role was managing multiple locations across South Yorkshire and Derbyshire. My career spans 25 years working within a large corporate structure and working directly with the general public, where I have managed small and large teams of employees with a larger focus on Human Resources & Finances, including Profit and Loss Accounts, Payroll and Invoicing.
Deputy Manager & Senior Planner
Jessica Milner
I have 15 years experience working within the Home Care Field and I love all aspects of supporting people. My expertise is coordinating client calls, staff rotas and coordinating the logistics of over 2000 hours of client calls per month. I am currently studying my Level 5 in Leadership & Mgt to further my career development. I enjoy family time and getting out with my dogs after a busy day at work.
Senior Support Lead
Thomas Hart
Started in Business Management and Finance at university NVQ level 4 and was training in finance, but finance did not fuel my passion. Found my feet with painting & decorating for 5 years, whilst working as a roofer for 3 years – all over the UK, doing residential and large commercial jobs.
Realised my passion for helping people and wanted to continue in social care, after joining Ali Gibson Support Limited, which was the perfect role for me. I worked my way up and now as a manager. I see the big difference good care makes when improving people's lives.

Senior Field Supervisor
Zoe Parker
During the Covid-19 pandemic, my job as a pub manager came to an end. I was lucky enough to find a new job and have since progressed within AGS. My passion is helping others succeed at what they want to do, regardless of disability or barriers that our clients might face out in the community. I am much happier in my role within Social Care and believe I contribute to improving peoples lives.
I enjoy my own family time and getting away the coast on holidays.
Home Care & Support Team
We have a strong team of 40 Home Carers and Support Staff working in and around the Sheffield Area. Our carers are carefully recruited to ensure we are able to meet the needs of our client base.
Ashley, pictured above has been with AGS for several years and is our January 2024 Employee of the Month, Ashley's level of client support, continuity and dedication is always above and beyond.
Senior Field Supervisor
Sarah Roberts
I have 7 years experience as a Home Carer in the community and recently progressed to Senior Field Supervisor. I am passionate about helping people to remain independent in their own homes and really enjoy my job both in the office and out in the field.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and taking my dog out on long walks.
